Half Deaf Clatch Recording Setup

I’ve featured the music of Half Deaf Clatch on my Blues Show.
He recently shared this photo of his recording setup:
Behringer B-1 studio condenser mic into a Tube ultra-gain 100 pre-amp, old no brand vintage dynamic mic, Zoom RFX-1000 multi effects unit, Behringer Ultramizer Pro Multiband program enhancer, Behringer Ultra-graph Pro 31 band stereo graphic eq, Behringer Composer Pro Dynamics Processor, Eurorack MX802a eight channel mixer, Fostex VF80 Hard Disc Recorder and two Sennheiser e604 tom mics into Shark Dsp110 DI boxes for the stompboard.
The next project I’m working on I’ll be recording live through all this directly onto an Akai GX-4000D reel to reel (instead of the digital multitrack) then the finished songs pressed onto vinyl as part of a limited run EP.
Its all low budget gear nothing flash, but it certainly does the job. It was how I recorded my album and I’m very happy with how that turned out.
Check out his latest album “Who Needs Shelter” here
