Local luthier Paul Howarth recently repaired and resprayed this Vintage SG200 guitar. It is fitted with all Wilkinson hardware and is for sale here. I like the look of it very much and I’m keen to see a Telecaster that he is finishing in a similar fashion.

The Blues Show on Myspace
Although this is the only music inspired design I can find on the site, the rest of the t-shirts and wallpapers are pretty good too.
Like many fans of jambands, I have boxes and boxes of cassette tapes in the loft, from the days when we used to trade them in padded bags around the world. In this day and age of digital downloads, the tapes are just gathering dust and taking up space. I’m not sure, though, that I’d like to use them to make wonderful art like this.
If I had a strat I’d also be tempted by this simple but effective basketweave scratch plate. There are some more extreme examples for strats and teles too, as well as a very good range of guitar straps, again ranging from the simple to the extreme.
Ice lollies, we call them in the UK
Still a lot of work, though a reasonable end result – watch the video
